Getting back to my routine

Being away for a month is a lot of fun - but at the same time you break all routines and habits - the jet lag, messy apartment, and piled up things-to-do do not help either. I've been so busy, tired, and just thinking constantly that I have not had the time to step into the gym.

It's been a week since I got back. I still have had no time to upload the 1000 odd photographs I took, let alone unpack properly. I finally stowed away my luggage last night. It was near empty, but it was still lying on the floor.

I can't seem to find the receipt (with the tracking number) for my parcel which I shipped two weeks ago, so I can't track where it is. I do hope that the parcel arrives, as it is full of nice Indian cooking spices, instant coffee and tea that I cannot possibly get here and dodol (Malayasian coconut candy) that I have not had in years.

The jet lag is officially gone :) *PHEW* I've had to meet up with some friends to catch up and spend time with them. This is a lot of fun but sometimes it involves rushing off after work and not spending enough time in my apartment.

I'm still trying to learn how to find that balance - where you can have a social life, go to the gym, yet still keep a nice, clean, neat apartment. Someday I'll find it. Until then I'll keep trying.

Desperately trying not to shop and succeeding so far. My goal is to not buy any piece of clothing for the next 2 months :) I don't need anymore, but wanting more is another story :)
