Bumming Around

I haven't been up to much, hence the lack of updates. I've been having some challenges at work the past few months, but things are looking up a little now.

I watched Made of Honor yesterday. It was quite funny, but it is a chick flick I guess :)

I have also managed to finish reading The Time Traveler's Wife. It is a really good book. I'm really glad I finished it because its been awhile since I read a book properly - after Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows. In my job, I have to read and write heaps, it gets difficult to do light reading after work. At least I got to finish this book :)

The next book on my list is Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell.

People are never who they seem. I realise that a lot these days. I guess its part of becoming mature. On that note, ciao. I'll write more eventually :)

Coffee Keeps Me Happy

Most days, a cup of good coffee is not only soothing but also inspiring. I'm currently working on a difficult task at work - writing a whitepaper - but not making much progress as I'm a little tired. My last projects were a lot of work and I feel like I have been hit by writer's block :(

So, to motivate myself, I had a large cup of coffee yesterday morning, at work. The result? 1 good paragraph for the whitepaper. I'm quite sure I'll make more progress next week.

It's Saturday today - time to clean the apartment up and just be lazy. I'm still attempting to read "The Time Traveller's Wife". It is a good book. I have completed about 200 pages or so. Hoping to finish it soon. I have a stack of books I have yet to read. Hopefully I'll get through those as well. I keep buying books and not reading them - that must be another job hazard. The more I write - the less I want to read :(
