Back in Australia

Well, my 1 month of being a bum in Malaysia is over. I am officially back in Australia (though 4 days after classes have started). I feel really tired to be honest, because I messed up my sleeping habit. I know I should not have done it, but I just wanted to do something out of character (which explains why I came back late). Sometimes you get tired of being in your own skin for so long.

In Malaysia I slept at aroudn 4am or 6am and woke up at 2pm or 3pm. It was quite fun actually. Hehehe. But here I need to be up by 7.30 at least because I have classes at 8 am somedays. I couldn't wake up on Friday morning and I missed my first lecture for Economics. It was sad.

Let's hope I manage to fix my sleeping pattern :)

Some People Just Won't Move On...

I have some friends who are stuck in a particular time of their lives and they refuse to move on. It's frustrating when you have moved on and started liking different things but these friends are still stuck in a particular time frame. They still insist on talking about the same things when we meet up. Sometimes, this one particular person makes such a big fuss when I don't have the time to meet up and all that. I really don't get it. Also, its so obvious that we don't really have anything left to talk about.

*sigh* Frustrating people.

RRS: Ramblings, Rants, Spoilers

I watched three movies between yesterday and today.

1. The Break-Up
2. The Lake House
3. Pirates of The Caribbean 2

I liked The Break-Up. Of course it was very hyped up but I like the ending. The movie itself is a bit sad because you see how two people fight over unimportant stuff despite actually caring a lot about each other.

As for The Lake House...I really liked it too. Keanu Reeves not only looked good, he acted very well. The same goes for Sandra Bullock. The two of them are such good actors that they just fit into the characters effortlessly.

Hmm, what do I say about Pirates of The Caribbean 2? I found Jack Sparrow hilarious. Will Turner did have more masculinity in this installment as I found him more brave and bold and smart. It used to be more of Jack Sparrow's antics rather than Will Turner's which actually saved the day. Of course you have to watch Part 3 now to find out whether Jack Sparrow lives or not. They also bring back Barbosa at the end of the film. It's a good watch - I laughed way too much for my own good :)

What Have I Been Up To?

I know I haven't blogged much. Its partly due to my reluctance to sit down and put my thoughts into words. Not that its difficult, I just don't feel like it. Call it a mood swing or just plain laziness ;)

I attended my elder sister's engagement party. It was fun. I got loads of compliments as it was one of my first times wearing a saree. My mom bought me an apple green saree because she knew she couldn't go wrong with green as green is my favourite colour.

Well the wedding is scheduled for January...so I have to get another saree for that function.

Apart from that, I went shopping again ;) Picked up two handbags (Yes, *I* am actually buying feminine handbags) and two pairs of pants. Ooh I also got a Superman t-shirt. I really like Superman and I have been wanting a Superman t-shirt for quite some time. Finally got one ;)

I have been watching loads of movies. Below is a list ;)

Movies I want to watch...

Things Change...

There are days when you do really well in exams - scoring Distinctions and High Distinctions. But you mourn the loss of a few marks because you expected to do better. Maybe you expected the Distinctions to be High Distinctions instead.

There are also days when you barely make it - scoring Passes and Credits. You feel so small and cheated. So disappointed. Sometimes no matter how hard you try, its just never enough. Everyone tells you that you should be happy. True, you don't have to repeat a subject or extend a semester. But the worst part is when you just know that you deserve better. That for the amount of effort you put in, that is definitely not the grade you deserve. You just know it. But there is nothing you can do about it. Nothing at all...
